Xiaomi Philippines now includes the Mi Pad on its online site priced at Php10,999. Though, exact sale date is yet to be announced.
The Mi Pad is an eye catcher with 2048 x 1536 resolution, 326ppi on a 7.9-inch IPS LCD, bearing a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display. Now, the better half of what you see is the MIUI on top of Kitkat. Remember that this was actually launched midway last year, so the Lollipop update may still be in the works. But, the simplicity and intuitiveness Xiaomi puts into its own UI definitely still gains a plus.
