Finally, Xiaomi’s Mi 4i is officially introduced as an ultra-compact smartphone, housing sky-rocketing specs with eight core processor, 1080p display, 4G dual and MIUI 6 on Android L.
It all begins with great design, sporting a unibody, ultra-compact frame that is smooth and ergonomic, which gives a comfy grip with your hands measuring only at 7.8mm thin and 130g light. Its 5-inch screen brings full HD 1080p res with way too high 441 pixel density, and a Sunlight display feature, which makes it pretty much viewable outdoors even under harsh sunlight.
The dual camera have both 5-element lens with 13MP Sony f/2.0 rear sensor, paired with a two-tone flash, and a 5MP Samsung f/1.8 front-facing sensor. It also comes with Beautify, which enhances selfie shots that can be selected from a range of 36 beauty profiles.
Performance is driven with an eight-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, cached with 2GB of RAM that runs on MIUI 6. Take note that this one is already on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop, which makes it the first among Xiaomi’s smartphone line-up. The last update of MIUI 6 is still on Kitkat like on the Redmi 1S, including the Redmi 2’s out of the box.
