Cherry Mobile seems to be cheering its latest 5.0-inch Jelly Bean phone on its teasers back in their social site fan’s page, having been revealed as the Cherry Mobile Fuze. They actually put the lines, “GO! 4000mAh Quad-Core.”
It feels like Cherry Mobile got their lessons right this time, now putting a larger battery capacity on the unit. Especially, when the 5-incher Fuze packs a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and its users would tend to rally for more quality time playing either online vids or games.
The Cherry Mobile Fuze got dual SIM with 3G support on its SIM 1, and dual camera with 8MP on the rear equipped with flash, and 1.3MP front-facing. It has Bluetooth, WiFi that can be turned to a hotspot, and USB-OTG for a more direct file handling. If not for the 854 x 480 screen resolution of its capacitive display, the Fuze can really be a serious competitor on the 5-inch range.
A photo, which came from Cherry Angel’s FB account showed an Antutu Benchmark of the Fuze reaching beyond 16K mark. That’s really pretty capable for an Android 4.2 phone with a 4000mAh battery to let you enjoy such performance. However, will Cherry Mobile keep the power range close to 4K mAh every time they’ll have a phone out creating a precedence? And will they also get those pixel densities to go over 300ppi if they have much power to offer?
Well, that is if the price will also be right? Sacrifices are made when you get such units like the Cherry Mobile Fuze at Php5,499 only. You get more power with less vivid display. Though, it’s still one heck of a bang for the buck deal.
