Vivo Xplay 3S Sporting the World’s First 2560 x 1440 Resolution Display Announced

Vivo gets to announce its Vivo Xplay 3S as the world’s first ever smartphone to have the Quad HD 2560 x 1440 resolution at 490ppi pixel density on a touchscreen display.

That’s pretty awesome for the 5.7” Android mobile phone even having the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 under the hood at 2.3GHz, coupled with an Adreno 330 GPU, joggling memory with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in user memory. The 3200 mAh battery capacity even sweetens the deal on sustaining such powerful performing capacity.

Xplay 3S also has a 13MP primary shooter, with a fingerprint sensor located just below it. The overall feel is dashingly impressive, with the 2k resolution display, even the thin bezels on the sides, and the ultra-slim profile with 4.5 mm at it’s thinnest region.

This was just announced at Beijing, China and is seen on China Mobile’s selection of gadget plan phones. Yup, the telecom in which Apple is vying for placement on their subscription plans in China that would catapult their iPhone sales finally in the region.

China Mobile’s listing actually showed that the Vivo Xplay 3S – 32GB will cost CNY4,498 (about $740 or Php32,000) and the 64GB model at CNY4,999 (about $823 or Php36,000). Though, those local pricing are just estimates, not to mention if when will it reach our shores.
