Samsung will soon release its next generation Galaxy Gear and prior its launch, decided to let developers get on board by sending them invitations to get access on its latest wearable SDK. And on its press release, Samsung inevitably dropped a hint on how its latest smartwatch UI suggests that it’ll get a circular or round shape this time around.
Samsung have released six versions of smartwatches with the Gear S as the 6th having stand-alone features that is based on its own Tizen OS. However, we’re still unsure if the upcoming Galaxy Gear, that is the 7th would get the same OS. Google also have released its Android Wear for smartwatches to get along with Android OS on smartphones, though the Tizen OS might not get support to go along with other Android devices.
Samsung’s global partners like CNN, Yelp, Baidu, FidMe, and Apposter were also featured with their own UI previews for the next Galaxy Gear. Developers interested to get the early access on Samsung’s latest Wearable SDK can sign-up on Samsung’s developer page here.
