Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini: 4.5” HD Super AMOLED Display with 1.4GHz Quad Core CPU

Samsung officially unveiled the smaller version of its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5 Mini, which proportionally toned down the specs as compared to the original 5.1-inch Galaxy S5. Though, it didn’t fail to keep the signature design employed on the latter.

The Galaxy S5 Mini still has the familiar perforated faux leather back cover, which comes in colors Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue and Copper Gold. So, it basically got the looks as well, in a smaller form factor with 4.5-inch 720 x 1280 resolution display.

Performance on the S5 Mini is taken cared of with the 1.4GHz quad-core processor and 1.5GB RAM combo, as compared to S5 with processing speed at 2.5GHz and RAM at 1.5GB, respectively. The main camera found at the back of the Mini has 8 megapixel, which measures half of the 16MP sensor on the S5.
