Smart Communications had a press release a couple of days ago about pre-ordering online of the latest Samsung Galaxy S III, which actually comes FREE with their Smart Unli Data Plan 2000 and to be released by next month. Globe’s offering the Galaxy S3 FREE at Plan 2499, so Smart may have played a sweeter deal with this one.
Samsung Galaxy S3 differs from its predecessor, the Galaxy S2 on a couple of major upgrades. Two of which were the larger display and a way faster processor. Its Super AMOLED touchscreen was bumped from a 480 x 800 4.3” to a 720 x 1280 4.8” display, giving approximately 306 ppi pixel density from 217 ppi. That’s a beauty in itself, isn’t it? Another would be the inclusion of the 1.4 GHz quad-core, getting rid of the 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. Now, it may find its competitors down the drain for quite some time.
