Oppo Philippines surely got some great feedback on its Oppo Joy, which is why they’re releasing a successor, the Oppo Joy Plus retailing for only Php4,990.
It’s just about the same time last year when they launched Oppo Joy. It runs on Jelly Bean OS having a dual-core CPU with speeds at 1.3GHz, 512MB RAM, 4GB ROM, 4.0-inch display with 480 x 800 resolution, 3MP rear cam, VGA selfie shooter, and a 1700mAh battery capacity.
Well, upgrade its RAM to 1GB, install ColorOS 2.0 instead, and you have the Oppo Joy Plus. Actually in terms of built, the Joy Plus didn’t depart from its predecessor at all, still it has the same 124 x 63 x 9.9 mm dimensions.
But wait, the ColorOS 2.0 is actually a notable upgrade. It’s still Android Kitkat 4.4.2, though optimized with great functionalities like App Batch Edit where you can move multiple app shortcuts simultaneously. Another is the customizable backup location, and it has better revamped notification center added on it. Oppo’s pretty serious on its ColorOS, at the same time as One Plus is with its OxygenOS and Xiaomi with its MIUI.
Don’t miss: One Plus sets to release One Plus Two by 3rd quarter and a lite specced smartphone by the end of 2015
Oppo Joy was priced at Php5,990 back then. And the Joy Plus now comes much easier on the budget for only Php4,990. And yeah, that’s a pretty good trade off, right? So, just check out that Joy Plus now in its retail stores.
