Nokia just launched a candy bar smartphone, the Nokia Asha 501 Dual SIM with a 3” touchscreen display for only Php4,490.
What makes the design eye-popping is due to its shells’ vibrant colors, which range from a classic black, white, bright green, cyan and to even brighter colors like red and yellow. It may look like a candy crash, but Nokia made it sure that it is durable, not to mention that the screen is a Gorilla glass scratch-resistant.
Nokia Asha 501 Dual SIM may be a 3” bar phone in a world of 5” displays, but this one does not easily give in with multi-tasking, specially with Nokia’s Fastlane that allows you to just swipe to switch and hover over a timeline of what you’ve recently done on your phone. Nokia Xpress Browser also gives you a full surfing experience while being light on your data plan. Also the battery can get you more than a full day or even longer on standby mode.
The hot swap on the SIM without removing the batteries should really be a standard, and Nokia does it better with their phones. Actually, Nokia takes it to another level by letting the phone remember the settings of up to five (5) SIMs. Check out more on its specs:
