MyPhone released a lighter version of its recent offering RIO, calling it the Agua RIO Lite, which has a bit smaller screen size at 4.7”, lesser RAM at 512MB, lower rear camera sensor at 5MP, and a cheaper price at Php3,999.
For a thousand peso short as compared to its full version, it could still be a good trade off. Though, it could have been better if they retained the 1GB RAM on board, as what they actually did with the processor that still packs four cores clocked at 1.3GHz. Besides the processor, they also kept the 4GB internal memory and the front-facing camera with 2MP.
If the RIO didn’t came out well with some memory trouble like the app to SD feature, needing an extra update to fix it, then you won’t have to worry about it with the RIO Lite. Though, this one still comes with the Jelly Bean 4.2, and not yet with KitKat 4.4.
MyPhone Agua Rio Lite is now available at MyPhone Concept Stores and Kiosks in the metro and other provincial stations.
