LG G Pad 8.3 now gets a quick Android KitKat 4.4 over-the-air update, making it the only slate to have the new classy user interface to date.
Actually, it was late last year that the LG G Pad 8.3 V500 got into the local market. It sports full HD display with a notable 8.3mm thin profile, packed with a non-removable 4,600 mAh battery. The 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor also came very compelling with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
The LG G Pad 8.3 came out pre-installed with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with features like the QSlide, Slide Aside, QuickRemote and KnockOn to name a few. The KitKat update will turn those much appealing and even make it more snappy as the usual experience with the optimized new Android update.
For quick update, simply go to your menu, select the Software Update icon, then setting, phone info, and head on to the Software update check. Availability will be checked automatically, then select Download and Install Now if the software update popped-up on your display.
You can place some comments below if you already have the update and how does 4.4 KitKat fare on your device as well.
