Huawei introduces another 7-inch tablet, the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth, with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz and 4100 mAh battery capacity.
It was just a couple of weeks ago that Huawei announced the MediaPad 7 Vogue, with a quad-core processor inside, with a thinner and lighter profile than the MediaPad 7 Youth. The Vogue actually measures 9.5mm thin and weighs 335g, while the Youth is 9.9mm and weighs 350g. It’s obviously targeting the youth sector, so this may be less expensive than the Vogue.
However, Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth also have the 3G and Wi-Fi profile, which makes it much usable for teenager given that they can also make calls and send SMS or MMS using the tablet. Not to mention, it’s also HSPA+ capable with up to 21Mbps surfing speed.
The MediaPad 7 Youth’s 7-inch screen is actually a 10-point touchscreen, with a 1080p full HD video playback that makes it a great multimedia tool at the same time.
Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth will be available in Russia, China, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe this quarter of 2013. Philippine availability of the MediaPad 7 Youth may go along the roll out. Prices locally may be announced soon as well.
