Huawei is going to launch its new flagship, the Ascend P8 this coming 15th of April in London, skipping the Mobile World Congress stage earlier this year. Actually, Huawei put up the announcement under the consumer link category P8 on its site. So, it’s a dead give-away on what’s to be unveiled in the event.
Another thing is that, much of P8’s specs to be revealed have also been leaked before the event. The Ascend P8 is said to have a 5.2-inch 1080p display, powered with their own Kirin 930 CPU, supported with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Its dual camera is at 13MP and 8MP, plus a dual support on 4G for both SIMs.
Now, back to back with the P8 is the P8 Lite to dawn the London stage, having all the specs brought a notch down. Instead, it’ll get a 5-inch 720p display, a Kirin 620 CPU with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Cameras in placed will be 8MP and 5MP, rear and front, respectively.
Evidently, April seems to be a pretty good month to cluster announcements. Though, Huawei will go just before Xiaomi and LG that is on the 23rd and the 28th, respectively.
