Huawei Ascend G6, also dubbed as Ascend P6 mini has arrived local outlets, featuring a 4.5-inch IPS display and a quad-core processor tagged at Php9,990.
Huawei Ascend G6 was announced last February, and is actually scheduled for release this month, so seeing it in stores this soon is definitely a plus considering local availability usually comes a little bit late in our stores due to global roll-out limitations or market priorities to be exact.
Huawei also got to release this month the Ascend G730 at almost the same price at Php8,999, which also has about the same specs with a bit of higher or lower in one or two features if taken to consider side-by-side. The Ascend G6 has a smaller screen size at 4.5-inch, though they both have same 960 x 540 resolution that makes it denser on pixels at 245ppi. This translates to a relatively sharper display on the part of the G6.
The dual camera on the Ascend G6 also comes with greater megapixels, that is 8MP on the rear and a better selfie cam at 5MP. The quad-core processor used is clocked a bit lower at 1.2GHz, with the same memory configuration having 1GB of RAM and 4GB built-in storage. It also runs on Jelly Bean 4.3 and skinned with Huawei Emotion UI 2.0 Lite.
