ASUS Philippines just released a thin, lightweight netbook, the ASUS Eee PC X101H in the local market at P10,995. It basically targets people on the go with mobile surfing and cloud computing at their disposal in a very convenient, portable, and not to mention, a very affordable package.
ASUS Eee PC X101H turns heads around when everybody else wants a touchscreen tab or a pad for their mobile tech and social life, plus the longing for a keyboard in a cheap price. The Transformer Eee Pad may do the trick but it’s above P20k. This one, however comes close at a P10k mark, having that enough 10.1” WSVGA, 1024×600 non-touchscreen real-estate display, with a generous 250GB HDD, plus Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0 and a built-in card reader.

It’s interesting to note also that this comes pre-installed with the MeeGo OS, which is a Linux-based open source mobile OS. This one creates a new netbook User Experience (UX) on navigating through and using your computer. Actually, MeeGo is not just for netbooks, but also being developed and released for tablets, mobile handsets and in-vehicle infotainment. You can also install it on your Windows or even on your OS X.
